Motivational Tips

It’s cold, dark, and wet outside, and my bed is super snug, cosy, warm and soothing. I don’t want to do anything but stay in my bed. But as I start to look around me I am reminded of the WHY. Why I need to get up right now and why it’s important for me to start my day as I intended and why sacrificing the comfort of my warm bed will be worth it in the future. I see my habit tracker, my motivational poster cheering me on and my beautiful vision board, which highlights where I can be if I choose to get out of bed right now and start working on my to do list. I can be where I want to be but I must start my day as I intended.

This is one example of how sometimes we need a little extra push to keep us moving forward. Motivating tools have been a valuable part in our journey, they have helped us stay on top of our goals and inspired us when we have felt like giving up and giving into old habits that don’t serve our future.

We have put together our Top 5 List of Motivational Tools, which we believe will inspire you and help you to stay motivated.

We love motivational posters and quotes, they are great for inspiration and provide incredible daily encouragement. When placed in different areas of your home, office, gym etc they will constantly give you a boost of strength, reassurance and confidence.

Take the time to make a list of the reasons why you want to achieve your goals and place it somewhere where you can always see it, perhaps where you work. So when you are feeling unmotivated this is a great way to remember why you started.

A vision board is a fun and excellent way to visualise what you want to achieve. It highlights your future vision and it demonstrates the outcome you will receive if you continue to put in the hard work now. A vision board will make you feel good, lift your spirit and motivate you. Read more here.

We believe inspirational content can have a powerful impact on your mind-set and motivate you to achieve your goals. Inspirational leaders, content creators, philosophers and educators to name a few can have a huge positive impact on your life’s journey. Inspirational content is motivating, it can make you feel good and also give you the encouragement and confidence you need on your journey.

We often like to listen to motivational speakers, read content from philosophers, indulge in audio books that lift our spirits and we also find encouragement and strength from creators who teach you a new skills and share new ways of doing things. We are grateful to all who are willing to share their skills, ideas and thoughts as it’s a beautiful way to learn, self-develop, be inspired and stay motivated to follow our dreams.

As mentioned in 10 Effective Tips: How to Achieve Your Goals, rewarding yourself is also great for motivation. Planning a reward for when you achieve something is a great way to have something to look forward to, whether it’s a holiday, dinner somewhere nice or going to a spa, etc. This is a great way to re-charge yourself and also a great way to help you stay motivated.

Waking up every morning and having faith in yourself that you can accomplish anything is a great way to start your day. Train your mind to let go of doubt, fear and any thoughts that don’t serve you and your future vision. Sometimes building confidence and faith in yourself can take time, so we recommend using an affirmations list to help get you started. Read it when you start your day or during the day. This is a great way to get motivated and help you move forward and overcome any obstacles that come your way. Always believe in yourself, your abilities and know you have the power to make your dreams come true!
